FIX-MASSEAU
Fix-Masseau

Fix-Masseau was one of the greatest poster designers of the 20th Century. An apprentice of Cassandre, he mastered the techniques of graphic design and communications early. Over a 50- year period, he created 150 posters. Each of his originals is considered a masterpiece and every one of them highly collectible. The "DeLahaye" 135M (1937) poster is said to represent the culmination of his design knowledge. Everything he knew about composition, color and communication is represented here. This poster was printed on arches paper as an overrun from a limited edition lithograph. Each color was separated by hand and printed individually at the Mourlot Atelier in Paris (where Piccaso, Chagall and Miro printed). Copyright Fix-Masseau by spadem 1989. Poster size is 24 1/2 by 39 (inches). The DeLahaye automobile was France's answer to the Duesenberg - sculpture in motion.

Fix - Masseau, Golden Arrow ** The "Golden Arrow" poster is said to represent the culmination of his design knowledge. Everything he knew about composition, color and communication is represented here (don't you want to just jump on this Art Deco train and take a trip from Paris to Venice)?  This poster was printed on arches paper as an overrun from a limited edition lithograph. Each color was separated by hand and printed individually at The Mourlot Atelier in Paris where Piccaso, Chagall and Miro printed. Copyright Fix-Masseau by spadem 1989.  The poster size is 24 by 39 (inches). It's a true beauty. Enjoy!
